Prep Schools

Prep-School Etiquette

Competition for admission to colleges is ever increasing. As a result families pursue a litany of extracurricular skills development opportunities, including tutors, athletic coaches, music, dance, art, and many other skills that will make them distinctive while pursuing a nascent passion. One key to success in many of these activities is the level of skill of working productively with other people including teachers, teammates, collaborators.   The Elementary Etiquette Society works with students to develop that skill directly by creating a foundation of empathy and emotional intelligence and a broad set of situation-specific tools to allow them to present their best selves—and get the best out of others.  In other words, we develop young boys and girls who are leaders in that most elusive of traits, the ability to be excellent with people through civility, self-esteem, and confidence.

The Elementary Etiquette Society develops these skills in the college prepatory school setting through workshops and speaking engagements. Specifically, we provide business etiquette and social skills that can be applied tointernships, personal and scholastic relationships, presentations, college interviews, networking, and, perhaps most important, the everyday etiquette that builds a reputation for your child in small but important ways each and every day.

If a program is not currently offered at your school, please have your administrator contact us at 443-362-6262, or feel free to contact us yourself.

A young adult with the skills to know what to say, when to say it, and how to say it requires talent. The student that has better people skills excels faster, has better self-esteem, is more popular and has more opportunities presented to them.

People skills lead to success, because communicating with others is how individuals climb the social and business ladder.

Prep-School Coaching self-esteem

The Elementary Etiquette Society gives these extremely intelligent young adults an additional advantage, refinement, conversational skills, posture, decorum, pride, and a better self-image. We assist teens in better understanding how to answer difficult questions in an interviewfor college, a summer job, socially, or with teachers, adults, or peers. Confidence is built by giving the tools to feel self assured in many different scenarios such as meeting new people, introductions, awkward situations, dating, parties, traveling abroad, etc.
