Host Tip #1: Prepare your guests ahead of time on what they will need to bring.

Host Tip #4: Discuss transportation with your guests. Ask them if they need a ride from the airport and let them know if this works for you in terms of timing and space.

Host Tip #6: Have fresh towels laid out for your guests: one fresh face cloth, one hand towel and two large towels per every three days.
Host Tip #7: Ask your guests ahead of time what type of coffee or tea they enjoy and what they like in it. Also, ask them what food they like to have around for breakfast.
Host Tip #8: Try to make guests feel as welcome as possible by making them comfortable. Show them how to work the remote control for the television if it is complex.
Host Tip #9: Communicate, let your guests know what time you plan on serving meals.
Host Tip #10: It is perfectly acceptable to say, "Help yourself. Everyone is one their own until dinner."
Host Tip #11: Show your guests where things are located around the kitchen and family room.
